DJ, I got a thing for shooting horses (camera only), and this image is a beauty. Mine tend to be more intimate portraits, shot with longer lenses. But you put the ultra-wide to perfect use here. The tonality is spot on and very flattering. Geometry as well, with a "full frame" composition.. Curious as to how close to the front horse you were and how comfortable they were as you shot.

Well done.

David

View from Lagazuoi, Dolomites. Pano from 2 images stitched in LR. Leica S007, 120mm (Too much compression to get it down to 500k...)

Hi David,

Thank you. I was very close. The horses were very comfortable; I let them come to me. They were very sociable and they were so close, it was a little challenging.

Just curious, why would anyone want a S2 or S2P over a S006. Aren't they the same except the max ISO?

ive been shooting with my Leica SL (just sold the SL) and TL2 and come to realize that neither of these are anywhere in the ball park of my S007........ can’t wait to get back to Malaysia and get my S007 in the bag.

Looks like it needs some help from Lightroom or PS. Looks very dark on my iPhone 7
