Vicar's Close. Wells, Somerset. 

Dating from the 14C, it is claimed to be the oldest purely residential street with original buildings surviving intact in Europe, originally built for the 'Vicars Choral' of Wells Cathedral. And there is even a vicar in in the shot.....

To make the picture even stronger, I would be tempted to trim quite a bit of the bland sky, (avoiding the chimneys), leaving almost a square format shape. I like the mono conversion.

Yes, you’re right. If I scroll up to lose some sky it works better.
