Very nice set of images!

I've had the V-Lux for about two years now, and have only used it on vacations and during the times I needed a lot of reach in a quick package.

It's such a convenient and potent camera, and I 'm very happy to share some of my pictures on this thread!

First, a shot of Mt. Fuji from a few miles away:

...and covering a political rally. It says a lot that even though the V-Lux may not be the ideal tool for each of these different scenarios, it gets the job done very adequately and is a joy to use.

Good Friends

Having many horses over the years, one by one they have passed away. A month ago I was down to 2 horses when one (36 years old) had to be put down due to poor health. That left me with one old (29 years old) gray half Arabian. He had always been part of a herd so being a lone horse did not work. Worried about his well-being there was only one thing to do, by my horse a horse. Yes, I'm an old softy. The buckskin in the picture is also 29 years old. They are doing just fine together. I'm doing better myself. 🙂

Bill, thank you for sharing this poignant picture. You clearly love your horses, shown here in pensive mood. They look in lovely condition. Well done!

Thank you David.

I'm a real softy when it comes to animals. We have such control over them it only seems right to treat them well.

The two decommissioned nuclear reactors at Bradwell on Sea, on the the Essex coast.  Recently externally reclad to protect the original buildings from the elements, the reactors are de-fuelled and will remain in care and maintenance until around 2090 when they will be removed.
