pico Posted April 21, 2015 Share #4 Posted April 21, 2015 Nikon are getting into the mirror less camera business http://cameratimes.org/new-nikon-full-frame-mirrorless-camera-way/ Uses all F-mount lenses. I wonder if that truly interests any long-time Nikon mavens. Life is interesting. .

david strachan Posted April 22, 2015 Share #10 Posted April 22, 2015 Hmmmm!... .. Very like my Fuji X E1. The XE1 is a very user friendly camera with great top plate controls, and wheels. It looks nice with collapsible Summicron on it. The lens mount is the same positions and lens rotation as Leica M8. Welcome, dear visitor! leicaphilia Posted April 22, 2015 Share #11 Posted April 22, 2015 This one looked better: That's one of the prettiest cameras ever built. I actually prefer my SP to my M Leicas, with the possible exception of the M5.
Cuthbert Posted April 22, 2015 Share #12 Posted April 22, 2015 Yes the SP and the Canon 7 were excellent RFs, Leica was lucky that these two companies left that market in the late 60s to concentrate on the SLR, a TTL metered SP would have probably killed Leitz. david strachan Posted April 23, 2015 Share #13 Posted April 23, 2015 It does have an EVF by the way. Finished product could have an optical TTL viewfinder but hey......... Wouldn't that be fantastic Jim. Optical can still focus in low light. cheers Dave S

I had a Canon P...the Populaire. Sensational huge viewfinder and patch...nearly 0.9 times ..and beautiful Optical view. Dave S
Cuthbert Posted May 3, 2015 Share #15 Posted May 3, 2015 I had a Canon P...the Populaire. Sensational huge viewfinder and patch...nearly 0.9 times ..and beautiful Optical view. Dave S Yes the P is very popular but not cheap anymore! Now it costs more than a V,VI and a 7! I would be happy to see more rangefinders on the market.
