Within the forum, liking is the same as thanking used to be. If you have an account with Facebook and happen to be logged into FB while using the forum, there will be an interface to FB at work. All works fine and all will turn out to be handled easily I am sure. Admin Andreas, a big job well done! I have just renewed my membership. As Brent I am working from more than one device and on PC's it works fine. On Android I'll check. I'll be excited whether the size of the next upload will prove to be a satisfying improvement. But one very disappointing thing that i do want to note is the forum is no longer accessible via my office computer, nor my employer-owned blackberry, nor my ipad whilst i am in a wifi zone at my office (my employer is one of the largest global banks). The former software worked just fine. This blockage will limit my onlne time very substantially. I dont know what about the new software has caused this. But i suspect that it could be a problem if many others are affected. Regardless, i am extremely bummed.... Do any of the Admins know if this problem is fixable? It really sucks. It will take me a while to learn the details but so far this is a smooth transition (usually I have a hard time with such transitions ). I just renewed my premium membership and have one question regarding the ads: in the old format, as a sponsoring member I didn't see any ads (except the classified). In this new format, I see an ad in every page I open, embedded in the thread. Is this correct? That these ads will be present as part of the new forum regardless of membership status? I worked for a very, VERY large company before I retired. 50,000 worker bees. Their firewall caught most of the newer forum software. Bummer. Just reporting that the problem - for me at least - seems to be resolved and I can now view this forum on my office computer and on other devices in my employers WIFI zone. A miller Posted April 15, 2015 Share #35 Posted April 15, 2015 so now that i have redeemed my voucher and (I think) restored my premium membership, I still am seeing advertising banners inside the subforums, which include extremely distasteful dating service ads. This is horrible and think it should be fixed, regardless of how much money Andreas gets from this. I won't be a member for long if I have to suffer through exposing myself to this and as well as to members of my family (many of whom are under-aged)! Andreas - please repond.
