Elderly? I certainly feel it, have a stinking cold- the wine last night was medicinal :) .

Were you and I facing each other? Tie and jacket? Your wife offered you some of her sausage and you declined?

Incidentally, your wife was gracious enough to acknowledge us when we sat down, and also nodded goodbye when you left.

In this case, it was quite another couple I had in mind. We will know presently, I expect.

Sent an email to your other address, easier for me.

Unfortunately I didn't receive your email, calls to your mobile number fail, and I don't think you've received my text message. I don't have your email address on my phone so would you very kindly PM it to me please and I'll try to contact you that way?

Just an update on the meeting at lunchtime tomorrow

We will be meeting in the keller and not upstairs on the roof. We bumped into Carsten there last night and he has confirmed that upstairs won't be suitable but they have given us a large room in the keller.

The weissbier is rather good, btw

For those planning to visit the Albertina, my suggestion would be to start with the Munch exhibition and to use the other exhibitions to lighten things up again a bit...

Stefan

We were there this am. A laugh-a-minute Munch is not. The exhibition really is a descent into madness.

The photographs on the ground floor are worth seeing and there is an Elliott Erwitt exhibition and print sale at the Leica store nearby.

I've 'done' the camera shops, so very tempting to get a little souvenir, but the prices! I'm selling up and moving here to open a camera shop!

Also did the World Press Photo exhibition. Always guaranteed to bring ones mood down - it strikes you how 'we' live on this amazing planet but seem intent on causing death & destruction wherever possible.

I need a beer to brighten me up!

Time?

Our hotel is a 2min walk from the keller.

It's been a great day today.

The weather gods were kind. The city is beautiful. The venue was great, if a little hot tonight !, and the good was food and plentiful.

Thanks to everyone who made it a really good day. Here's to the next one in...

Well, that will have to wait until another post when I get home

I look forward to receiving entries over the next couple of weeks. Good luck to you all!

A wonderful day indeed, topped off by a super meal and of course great company. Thanks again to you and all others involved for organising the 2015 One Challenge. Here's to next year (I won't let the cat out of the bag!!)

Kind regards

John

Just returned after the night Challenge and I think I almost prefer Vienna after dark because its so beautifully lit and the architecture and statuary add a wonderful elegance.

Massive thanks to Andy for organising! It was wonderful to meet up with such great friends again and to welcome newcomers who I hope will come again next year along with the die-hards.

Wishing everyone a safe and pleasant trip home.

Pete.
