McGirton Posted July 5, 2015 Share #188 Posted July 5, 2015 Very nice Ellie! Makes me even more eager to receive mine finally. But it's still weeks away. The à la carte I ordered is black paint, blank top, black MP film advance and MP style leatherette. I was aiming for a really subtle, classic, no logo, minimal M7.

Best Henry Last saturday , I was the wedding photographer of my lawyer friend's son , I knew at birth (the time flies so quickly) We were two photographers, me with my 4 cameras 2 digital cameras as back up , (but very few photos made with digital) and 2 M analog ,one M7 with color film and one MP with b&w film. I do not use flash and tripod (not practical to move). Cameras M remain very discreet and few people notice my presence, not the case of another photographer with 2 SLR Canon 5DII , long tele and flash. Here one picture I post to show you the result Kodak Portra 400 Dev home lab Tetenal 38°C - 3mns 15 Leica M7 Summicron 28 Asph Welcome, dear visitor! piblondin Posted July 7, 2015 Share #192 Posted July 7, 2015 Not a huge fan of the generic composition in these, but I'm also looking for something more complex and abstract in my wedding photographer. and in b&w Kodak TX400 MP Summilux 35 Asph a little "groomboy" delivered rings for the married Image16wedaudgarck400m7ht+++-5cr-md-950-50.jpg No flash and no tripod Best Henry

If you seriously want a photographer to deliver what you want, be very clear to detail 'what you want'. We would be interested in what it is also, beyond complex and abstract. I'm also interested in how that sits with recording a traditional event. Presumably as 'part of'.

Doc Henry Posted July 7, 2015 Author Share #195 Posted July 7, 2015 Not a huge fan of the generic composition in these, but I'm also looking for something more complex and abstract in my wedding photographer. Hi Pi , I am often asked by friends to photograph their weddings. Before I photography with my 2M digital. I must admit that this is "inflation triggers", I trigger , I trigger. Now it's the opposite, I think with my M7 before shooting, I compose, I try the best framing, and finally I'm happy because all my photos are good. There are shots that are better than others, but the colors are beautiful without correction in Lightroom. and what a pleasure to develop color film itself as b&w . As said Erl , we must think ahead and know what you want. Best Henry
Doc Henry Posted July 7, 2015 Author Share #196 Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Bravo, Henry! I'm not sure that I will ever be brave enough to develop C41 at home, but I like the result. Hi Stephan, Thank you but it's fun to develop himself and it's cheaper , work well done with no scratch on film but you must be careful for the time (3 minutes,15 sec) and temperature (38°C). Work with gloves and in a ventilated room. Best Henry Smile in color with girl friends of the bride . Very relaxing way of photographing ! Thanks for your comment Robert Best Henry Edited July 7, 2015 by Doc Henry
