You kept my keepers :)

Nice.

I actually read this three times until I got it..hahaha...(and I am not surprised of course). Thank you!

The woman in the foreground is so attention grabbing that I had to force myself to look at the other people and the billboard at the top. A great shot.

Paul

Thank you Paul. Very appreciated.

#1 is really out of the park for me.

In the photo, "sexy" is juxtaposed against the counter-point woman of the foreground.

And behind the camera, humour juxtaposed against . . . bravery perhaps?

I tell ya, you guys and your daring New York photos scare me. I wouldn't dare -- not without bringing my 75 lb boxer along for . . . "companionship."

i new to leica forum, and i m already happy to see some very good images in this forum

the first one is really beautiful ! i hope she was not angry with you hehe :)

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the compliment and post.

I love that so far two new members seem to have posted in this thread first!

Was she angry at me? I have to go look at the original images to see how many I took. I think it's three frames.

The back story was I was actively shooting in front of Macy's when I saw her just as she is. But I didn't have the camera already raised, which is how I much prefer to shoot. People are extremely perceptive to certain motions, so rather than raise the camera and fire directly at her, I first set the focus at best guess (Monochrom), Faced north perpendicular to her, fired off or faked firing off a frame or two, then leveled the camera at her, took the shots then without moving, I reviewed the images and pivoted and took a couple of fake snaps South, then slowly acted engaged in what ever I was doing.

Normally I try to be set up and the subject never really knows if they were being photographed but suspect they might be and it's rarely an issue...except as Adam (A Miller) will tell you, it's the ones who are the most unbalanced who seem to never be fooled!

Was she mad? I suspect she was a tourist and if so, really all rules are off! :D
