pauledell Posted July 26, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 26, 2014 An excellent shot of the person walking through the tunnel. Nice composition, tones and sharpness. Paul

andybarton Posted July 27, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 27, 2014 What a great name for a tunnel... Have a massive bridge and a swing aqueduct so named up here, but no tunnel. Great pose you've captured here.
dunos Posted July 27, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted July 27, 2014 I can see why you approve of the name. The tunnel is actually an underpass below the St. James Barton Roundabout in Bristol. Not somewhere overly safe to walk at night, but the area is slowly undergoing a gentrification process, much to the chagrin of the local residents. Thank you everyone for your kind comments.
andybarton Posted July 27, 2014 Share #7 Posted July 27, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) "Barton" is an Anglo-Saxon word for "farmyard", especially a corn farm, so is a relatively common word in A-S areas of England. Someone about 1200 years ago must have decided that thier farm was worthy of a Saint's patronage
