Where would be a great place to travel to to shoot only B&W

I live in Malaysia and I am just away to get a new Leica Monochrom. My buddy also has a MM and we want to go away for say a 5 to 7 day trip and only shoot B&W.

Any ideas within say a 1 to 5 hour flight of Malaysia where we could go and shoot street and anything else but only in B&W??

I've seen a lot of nice black and whites coming from Bali, that's fairly close. Added advantage that you could take the 240 and get some nice color shots as well

Hay Simon I was there about 6 months ago and yes Bali would be a fantastic place especially down all the back alleys..........But we only want to shoot black and white so M will be staying at home

Anywhere is good. If in doubt, ask your pet dog. They pretty much see only in B&W.

I was going to suggest the moon, but it would take somewhat over five hours. How about China or Hong Kong? Not just street scenes but misty landscapes and architecture.

Black and white is purely a case of mental perception for humans. As you will have a singular intention, almost anywhere with a variety of shapes and lighting will give you abundant material for your new camera. Do share your results with us. Enjoy the experience.
