fotografr Posted June 26, 2014 Share #1  Posted June 26, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I rarely use a tripod because, like most of us I don't want to be bothered. But I did a little experiment by going back out to re-photograph the lilies I posted earlier, only this time I used a tripod. To my eye, the result is definitely better.  MM/50 lux Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Michael Hiles Posted June 26, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted June 26, 2014 Fine picture. Tripods make sense for this kind of picture. Here, sharpness is a very positive attribute. Sharpness means no movement - and a tripod helps hugely.

Iduna Posted June 26, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted June 26, 2014 Brent, Â this is an outstanding result with a perfect composition and its graphic rendering emphasizing its tack sharp details. Using a tripod makes sense, if there is no wind. But it helps also in terms of a perfect composition. This distance is nice for a tripod shot. I always think about buying a bellow or a makro sledge but tend to skip it because there are hardly any days without wind. Do you have any experience on this field? Louis Posted June 27, 2014 Share #7 Â Posted June 27, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Brent, I love this shot! The tonality is superb on my monitor! ... I rarely use tripod too; it's rather by laziness. But when I do it, I realize how better a shot is!
