Leica T file numbering

Hello,

I have received my Leica T a few days ago with the visoflex and the Vario Elmar and firmware 1.1 already installed.

I'm just getting acquainted with the camera and I noticed that after a few shots, the numbering jumped from L1000045 to L1010046. I did at some point format the SD card and I also used the internal memory to save pictures, but I it is not clear why the folder number jumped to 101: is there a way to go back to folder 100 without resetting the picture numbers?

Thanx

I've used the following with other cameras but think it should work for you.

Format a sd card in the camera

Take a photo

Open the sd card in a computer

Change the name, I.e. Number of the photo to what you want. Eject the card.

Put the card back in the camera and take a photo

Is the number what you want?

Yes, but you need to reset the file numbering first. Otherwise the internal file counter would only ever go up, but not down.

Yes it works resetting the file numbering first!

Thank you very much Howsol and Michael
