pauledell Posted March 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted March 22, 2014 Dee, You should give the door a fighting chance and clear away the ivy. Paul

allamande Posted March 22, 2014 Share #5 Posted March 22, 2014 A doorway less traveled...This is poetic; the toning accents the mood nicely. Ece
Northwest Wanderer Posted March 22, 2014 Share #6 Posted March 22, 2014 This is so nice. The toning really sets it off. Just because there is a door doesn't mean you must enter.

XVarior Posted March 23, 2014 Share #8 Posted March 23, 2014 I love doors and windows when they are like this. I would leave this way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
platypus Posted March 23, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted March 23, 2014 Thanks to everyone for your comments. Without the ivy this would only be a rather plain, oversized old brown door. The house has new owners now, of course they plan to renovate, maybe....no! almost certainly...they will rip the ivy down and get the door functioning again. Sadly. Iduna Posted March 23, 2014 Share #10 Posted March 23, 2014 Dee, wonderful dreamy image. How man stories are hidden behind this door? It likes as if being from a fairy tale. The toning and rendering are matching its mysterious atmopshere.
fotografr Posted March 23, 2014 Share #11 Posted March 23, 2014 Well seen, Dee, and very nicely composed. Looking at this immediately made me wonder what's on the other side of the door. The toning is just perfect.

platypus Posted March 25, 2014 Author Share #14 Posted March 25, 2014 Very nicely done Dee. Did you use your MM on it as well? No Bill, I was out walking and so only carrying one camera/lens which happened to be the M9 + 75 Lux. Maybe next time for the MM.
