Jessestr Posted March 11, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I'm currently shooting with a Zeiss Sonnar 50 f1.5, mostly shooting inside and I feel that I need to get something wider.. But I just love the charatcer of the Sonnar. I was wondering if anyone tried the CV Color Skopar 35 f2.5 type II. It seems like a great lens but can't really find any pictures taken with it from people (to see skin tones, bokeh rendering etc). Thanks in advance Jesse

jip Posted March 11, 2014 Share #2 Posted March 11, 2014 Maybe ask the question in the Leica M lenses section of the forum, but do note you're using it on film.

gyoung Posted March 11, 2014 Share #7 Posted March 11, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's an excellent lens.Pete ..but not as good as my Summicrons, I use mine on my III with excellent results Gerry Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
leicaphilia Posted March 12, 2014 Share #8 Posted March 12, 2014 Agreed that its very sharp wide open. IMHO, for the money the best Leica 35, given its a third of the price of a slower Biogon, one seventh the price of a 40 year old Summicron and one tenth the price of a current ASPH. payasam Posted March 16, 2014 Share #9 Posted March 16, 2014 Some years ago I nearly bought this lens after reading about it and seeing its results; but then I got an Ultron 35/1.7 instead as I do a lot of work indoors and the extra speed is valuable.
