Gibbo Posted November 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am starting to put together a meet for spring of 2014 Rather than Bristol, this time it will be in the beautiful city of Bath! All are welcome !!! If you would like to join in but have dates in April that you cannot make, please let me know and I'll try my best to arrange a date that suits all. If we have enough interest I will pop in to Ace Cameras and see if they would like to be involved. I am ready for a deluge of replies and PMs
Advertisement Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Hi Gibbo, Take a look here Spring into Bath, April 19th, Easter Saturday. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
topfloor Posted November 25, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 25, 2013 Bath would be a lovely place to visit and refresh my good memories from our first visit in 2002. We are flexible with dates in April.

DigitalHeMan Posted November 26, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 26, 2013 Bath is nice. Depending on dates I may be able to pop over for a weekend....
lanetomlane Posted November 26, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 26, 2013 Eileen and I would certainly be interested and so far we don't have anything planned for April. Cheers, Tom
Gibbo Posted November 26, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted November 26, 2013 I like jaapv's idea about an Easter meet. Does this appeal to eveyone? Easter Sunday is April 20th 2014.
jaapv Posted November 26, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 26, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) sounds fine to me.
lanetomlane Posted November 26, 2013 Share #8 Posted November 26, 2013 Should be okay for us. Assuming you'll be providing the Easter Eggs. Cheers, Tom
Tim B Posted November 26, 2013 Share #9 Posted November 26, 2013 Good idea. I might be interested as I used to live in Bath - I bought my first M6 from Ace Cameras (or Tripps as it was then.) It is now a bit of a way away, but it would be nice to join you if possible. However, Easter weekend is very busy for me and I could not do then. I suspect that there might be others with family holidays on that weekend, but maybe not. I haven't yet got my work schedule for Easter week, but I'm still interested. farnz Posted November 26, 2013 Share #10 Posted November 26, 2013 Sounds like a plan and I'm up for it, Dave. Can I suggest a post-11.30 start to give those of us travelling by train from the smoke a chance to get there with the likely unaccommodating Sunday timetable please? Incidentally, Network Rail is electrifying the Great Western mainline so it might choose the extended bank holiday weekend to plan a full blockade with no train services at all but engineering works (whoops, I mean "Railway Improvements" ) beyond February are not published yet. Pete.
DigitalHeMan Posted November 26, 2013 Share #11 Posted November 26, 2013 Easter Day wouldn't work for me unfortunately. If I am in the UK for that weekend then I would be expected to be with my family on the Sunday. I could make the Saturday more easily....
frankwaller Posted November 26, 2013 Share #12 Posted November 26, 2013 I am up for Bath regards Frank
terrycym Posted November 27, 2013 Share #13 Posted November 27, 2013 I'd be interested but don't make it too early as I'd be coming from Reading way and would probably use the ParK & Ride to get into Bath

Gibbo Posted November 28, 2013 Author Share #15 Posted November 28, 2013 Would people prefer Saturday to Sunday? I think I would if pushed to have a preference.
farnz Posted November 28, 2013 Share #16 Posted November 28, 2013 Yep. (April's actually not planned as my bath month but I'll make an exception on this occasion if I can find my rubber ducky.) Pete.
jcraf Posted November 28, 2013 Share #17 Posted November 28, 2013 Would people prefer Saturday to Sunday? I think I would if pushed to have a preference. Yes, I'd love to come on Saturday. Easter Sunday tends to be the day I reserve for getting a b*llocking for not buying my wife an Easter egg (again).
