BerndReini Posted October 11, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 11, 2013 What case is this? It looks nice and seems like it fits perfectly. I own the black lacquer version of the LHSA lens. It is starting to brass but looks gorgeous on an film MP.

Peng Kang Hill Posted October 11, 2013 Share #6 Posted October 11, 2013 Very nice, indeed. BTW, can anyone tell me where I can get a chrome hotshoe cover like the one in the photo? Mine's an ugly black and it sort of not belong to the chrome top. PKH

Peter Branch Posted October 12, 2013 Share #12 Posted October 12, 2013 A few years ago a senior manager at Leica told me - in jest let me state for the avoidance of doubt - that all copies of this particular lens has LHSA etched onto the front element and nobody noticed because they were never used to take pictures. Thorsten, AFAIK it was a silver 35 mm Summicron-M LHSA issued together with the Hammertone MP LHSA. Good to know. The version of the 50mm I am talking about it the 50 Anniversary 50mm, but I think I am wrong in saying it was a LHSA edition. Just a 50 Anniversary it seems: Objektiver - Fastoptik - LEICA M 50/2,0 SUMMICRON 50 jahre CHROME - Photografica

Leicaiste Posted October 12, 2013 Share #20 Posted October 12, 2013 There has been a 50/2 LHSA as well. You are right but if was not created for LHSA. It is a plain silver Summicron with LHSA engraving The silver 50th anniversary Summicron 50 was much nicer.
