Not for his political point of view but for his way to argue and the threaten people he would be banned very quickly.

 

This is not a political statement (I have to take my own medicine) but an estimation from my experience as moderator.

I don't think he can afford Leicas. His salary is now reduced to a mere $400,000/year.

Folks, what can I do?

 

This thread is about what the Leica Forum is for and what topics we don't want - „we“ as moderators but also a big share if not the majority of the forum members. My post is more than three years old and the forum went well with it.

 

You want to be treated as grown-ups but derailing the thread from the original topic to Mr. Trump's tax records and thus a political doesn't make it easy to treat you this way.

 

Suggestion: Can you see the „no politics“ rule not as „ordre de mufty“ from the forum dictator but as a rule which can grown-ups agree on in order to maintain a positive discussion here?

The following is a message to the Leica Administration &/or Moderator. I have tried to direct message @jaapv and @LUF Admin but I get a message that I don't have access to this page. I've been a part of this forum community for some time now, had to reset my cookies due to a computer problem, and lost access to my actual user name. I am actually BLev65 . I tried to log in and my password did not work. I then tried to have a "Password Reset" sent to my email account. I did this multiple times but did not receive a "reset link." 

I am sorry that I am reaching out in this thread, but I can't seem to do this privately. Is it possible to connect this account to my username BLev65 so I do not lose my history with the forum.

I read the first post and didn't notice the date! I thought this was a new 'refresh' of the forum rules and having noticed a general downward trend in people's attitudes on other internet sites, with arguments spun out of the most simple of things, I thought good!
