I'm fascinated by straps...neck, wrist and shoulder. But sometimes...

 

This looks insecure; it's not. A long rubber band looped through the belt and over the lens adds more security...but I don't bother. V comfortable walking, sitting etc and well protected...straight at hand. Make sure there are no copper rivets rubbing your camera :eek:

 

Just tighten your belt an extra notch!

There are always new and innovative ways to carry an M8 but I still like the continuous shoulder loop where the camera slides on the loop using a small ring. The camera hangs vertically and comfortably under my arm and inside my jacket.

 

Any system that works for the user is OK and one that protects the on/off switch from being accidentally activated is probably better.

 

It's good to see new ideas. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed. My tailor gets most upset. He draws the line at a discreet pocket for my portable telephone & gentleman's vede mecum.
