david strachan Posted July 2, 2013 Share #1  Posted July 2, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm fascinated by straps...neck, wrist and shoulder. But sometimes...  This looks insecure; it's not. A long rubber band looped through the belt and over the lens adds more security...but I don't bother. V comfortable walking, sitting etc and well protected...straight at hand. Make sure there are no copper rivets rubbing your camera  Just tighten your belt an extra notch!  cheers Dave S Welcome, dear visitor! don_panko Posted July 2, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted July 2, 2013 There are always new and innovative ways to carry an M8 but I still like the continuous shoulder loop where the camera slides on the loop using a small ring. The camera hangs vertically and comfortably under my arm and inside my jacket. Â Any system that works for the user is OK and one that protects the on/off switch from being accidentally activated is probably better. Â It's good to see new ideas. Thanks for sharing. Paul J Posted July 9, 2013 Share #8 Â Posted July 9, 2013 Slung over the shoulder is best I find. Putting bulky things in pockets ruins the line of your suit.
bill Posted July 9, 2013 Share #9  Posted July 9, 2013 Indeed. My tailor gets most upset. He draws the line at a discreet pocket for my portable telephone & gentleman's vede mecum.  Regards,  Bill  Sent from another Galaxy
