Thank you Farhiz. I must say that not being very young ( 64 yo and my wife 70 yo ) , the ascent to Castle Brown was trying, very rough climbing with great warmth. I wanted to do the same view as the webcam. We were next it on the castle tower, which I will show later.

The link of the webcam to see:

Well, you nailed it. Your photograph is almost indistinguishable from the webcam image in viewpoint. Your picture is sharper and the colour rendering is perfect. By the way, the night view from the top is likely to be quite spectacular (seen in webcam view) but then it's a hazardous climb in the dark.

Thank you David for your compliment, but I am not very satisfied with my result. Not only did I not do treatment with LR, but the most serious thing was that I had the lazy to mount my polarizing filter which I put in my bag. Very serious mistake for all photos taken at the seaside. And yet, I know that the polarizer is the miracle filter !

I'm back to annoy you all. My brief flirt with the T is finished, I've returned to my daring X-Vario. If you feel the need to blame anyone, blame Jacques, LOL, he made me realise the power of the X-V is irresistible.

Short walk about the local gardens, with two mischievous grand-daughters in tow, not really conducive to picture making, but..........................

A couple more. For mono I tend to simply dial in the mono setting within the camera and use that.

Gary, I'm really sorry for the abandonment of the unfortunate T camera . :(

Well content to still count you among the X-Vario fan club. :D

Also in Italy, and Portofino again .

Thank you Jacques, glad to be here.

The T I liked, but in the end the decision between T and X-Vario came down to which I had the most sentimental with, as both produced similar results.

I'll consider the new T if it arrives, but the mixed signals leave me wondering sometimes.

Your Portofino series has me salivating. We will be in Corngelia in September, and Venice as well.

Gary , It is urgent to wait until the end of the year for the new T with integrated EVF

Venice is the city of my maternal grandfather. I went there for the second time, but back then with a small Canon G9. So no photos here. The town scenery is to be seen once, but with the influx of tourists unable to go to the Arab countries, there are now far too many people, as in all major European cities in those times. The Riviera di Levente is mountainous and less crowded, so little space for tourists cars, but the inhabitants very warm and peaceful. If you come with a rental car, I can give you the name/adress of the hotel with a view of the sea and free parking where we come regularly , at reasonable price . At Recco

Now Camogli next to Recco.

Jacques, Wonderful photo(s)!

Italy is just a wonderful place to visit - no matter where one chooses to go.

I'm starting in Lucerne this year and making my way to Amsterdam via the Rhine (river cruise). I will miss Italy, but do want to make it back to Venice again and Lake Como.

Rob, anyone realizes the same pictures, it's the landscape that is beautiful.
Indeed, Italy is a beautiful country, but not the only one in Europe that must be visited. The cruise on the Rhine that you are going to do is also magnificent, drinking the famous white wine of the region.

Thank you Rob
