Thanks, Klaus.  The Nikon Action touch has manual focus setting that are extremely easy to toggle back and forth.  So I kept it at about a meter and toggled one notch closer and farther on a whim.  Not too bad although my Leica is the king but I need dry snow for that 😀

Here is what I came with on the very early Thanksgiving morning with my Technorama.  

It is actually THREE shots stitched together in Lightroom.  The first was with my lens "fall" max out at -14mm.  Then the second was with my lens "rise" maxed out at +14MM.  The third was taken one flight of stairs up and a little back with the lens rise maxed out at +14mm. I needed the third as the second did not reach the top arch in the center.  I also took the third a week later.   I wasn't sure that it would stitch given that I wasn't on the same exact plane.  But voila!

The exposure time was well over 6 minutes (due t the center filter and reciprocity) and the few people that were there hanging around turned into ghosts.

What ya'll think?

Very nice! If ever your time permits, I would suggest a further exposure with more of that beautiful ceiling. You could reach heavens if you could line up the diagonals on the floor and the ceiling in a way that they meet each corner of the picture. BTW., did you have to bribe the security personnel to make these shots on a tripod?

Thanks, James.  There is no way for me to get more of the ceiling with my gear without pointing the camera up, It might be possible to get what you are referring to in a "fine art" fashion with a 4x5 with a very wide lens, perhaps the 47mm that @MT0227 has... Not sure and maybe we can try.    A long series of Verticals wouldn't be worth the squeeze for me. 😅

As for the security, basically I have immunity and nobody messing with me.  💪

This young Saanen lady was a favourite model, and later a reliable provider of milk, butter, yogurt, and cheese. Her name was Tilly, and this was a Fujichrome100 slide from somewhere in the early 1970's. Probably taken with a Pentax K1000. I might add that there are no species of pet better than a goat. Not only intelligent, they are wily, sneaky and smart in unexpected ways. The fence that will successfully contain a goat has yet to be invented.
