Had scanned some old stuff again. Here on from 1983. One of the last Fujicolor F-II 400, the first 400 ASA colorfilm. It was shortly after replaced with the HR 400. That was pretty grainy stuff. And here I also underexpose very well at 800 ASA. So it becomes even grainier. I was young and had to try things out.

Having watched the fascinating William Eggleston in the Real World directed by Michael  Almeyreda that Rog mentioned a few posts ago in response to Antonio's excellent American storefront, I thought I'd search and see if I have an "inner Eggleston" shining through in my "morgue". This is about the closest I think I got:

Wall, Fitzroy 2014

Contax G2, 28mm Biogon, TLA 200, Portra 400

Extraordinary shot! Looking for a museum Wall!

Adam, this hits home clearly - the colourful disarray of your blizzard and "fedora man" series, juxtaposed to the quiet serenity of these panoramas and scapes - all masterful, all vibrant in their own way. You are compiling an awesome body of work!

Thanks, Phil.  Now I just need to find a way to project my fedora silhouette onto the entire skyline - THAT would really be something 😁

You're bringing your inner Georgia O'Keeffe there, Rog!

Another stunner, Marc.  The thing is you do so well is reinvent your models with each photo.  We have seen this woman time and time again in your photos but in each one she has a resemblance to someone else.

Wonderful new entries this week! Especially liked the series besides the canal from Keith, not to mention Marc's outstanding portraits, Adam's NYC life style and panoramic shots and not to forget the sophisticated work of Ernest and Phil!

I came back today with a new box of chocolate, the results from some long exposure shots in my Mamiya 645 from Berlin and the Alps and some vacation shots from our winter trip. I hope to keep the high quality of this thread :) First is the so called Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-House - part of the ensemble containing the german parliament:

Mamiya 645 1000s - Sekor-C 80 - Cinestill 800T

(exposure time was about 30 sec)

Love this one, James.  Those red halo balls are so surreal and add so much to the image for me.  It is a case of "embrace to halos"!

Adam you are lucky it was in NY and not the cougar in Colorado.

Very well done   👍

Very true, Calin.  This pup has nothing on those cougars

Nice, Rog.  I am seeing a rising sun that is reflecting over the field.  Still haven't identified the yellow rectangle on the bottom though!
