Mark,

Just wanted to let you know that I find your night shots with your Plaubel-Makina excellent!

One can well see the care you take in bringing them to light.

Christoph and Mark,

I second this !

I even bought a W67 Plaubel after Mark's posts got my GAS activated but the camera arrived with a smashed viewfinder which occured during shipping so I sent it back !

Thanks, Phil.  And another stellar one from you.  Very well seen and rendered, and I agree with Mark about you having a distinctive style. :)

Thanks Adam. This one was with Rolleiflex 2.8F, Yellow filter, Tri-X pushed 1 stop and my Xtol I've started 'seasoning' (ie; using replenishment.)

I printed/toned/framed that one as well, there's something extra special for me at the way objects that appear silver in real life look 'made from silver' on the paper.

Another one from that same spot (in Sydney CBD), with same setup, the tones are a bit squashed in post this time given the subject.

I love the compressed Harlem view. I had to open it on a PC (seen on phone first) to figure out how the heck you somehow made the stars appear! Really clever composition, great stuff and perfectly executed.

Ha, ha, yes there is a lot going on so early in the morning.  And I believe it was a Sunday, to boot!  If you could view in full resolution, I think the precise detail and sharpness that this lens produces would convert some of the clutter into areas of interest.  For example, in full res you read the license plate number in the truck in the foreground.  This was one of the first times I used the superachromat and it totally sold me on the hype :)

Although this is a "perfect shot" in terms of technics, it is a bit to clustered for my tastes. I wonder if it could win with less movement - if this could be achieved in the never sleeping city. If I tried a similar situation on the main street of the place I live, I would likely get problems to find more than one driving car...

VERY VERY good, Mark.  You tames the chrome beast at night and hats off to you!

Anyone used the Lomography negative holder https://www.lomography.com/magazine/236869-daily-picks-from-the-sales-section-digitaliza-35mm-scanning-mask looks good for scanning sprocket holes.

looks interesting.  Do you know what scanner(s) it is compatible with?

Ok, I get it - the last landscapes are way to peaceful for the modern New Yorker

LOL, I just can't relate!    There's no graffiti, neon, steel or weirdos anywhere to be seen! LOL
