35mm Summicron M  ASPH @ f 8,0   Kodak 5207 (ISO 200 D) in Fuji C-41.

Meet Smets Benyl, who mows grass that grows on the Zwarte Beek’s peatlands twice a year to maintain the extraordinary habitat. He uses a specialised tractor owned by Flemish NGO Natuurpunt. This area was once degraded and emitted large quantities of greenhouse gas. Today, it's a biodiversity-rich habitat that has stopped harming the climate. In 15-20 years, it will function as a carbon sink again. Healthy peatlands are the most powerful carbon sinks on land.

One enchanted evening back in 1986 my wife and I were strolling along the banks of the Seine in Paris (ah, memories!) when we came across a crew shooting a big production number for an ad. Some time later, leafing through a Vogue magazine, I happened to come across the finished product:

Interesting image of the zeigeist. Maybe it’s me but I seldom see such images these days where a woman shows her love for a man. Strength and autonomy of women is the mainstream these days.

Thanks so much Otto. What you say even applies, evidently, when the man is actually shorter than the woman and has to stand on a box!

Great shot! Like yours a lot more, Phil. Skin tone and hair highlights are far better. And his right hand is where it ought to be. In the actual photo it looks like he really doesn't want to hold her, which, by then, was probably the case. He looks bored in the published one.

Very nice capture of the filming. As a side note, I am amazed at the size of the bottle, but they did a beautiful job of lighting it from behind.
