dimm, another great picture of what seems to be a road trip across the US.   I have a little bit of an on-off relation with the Ektar-- but your example suggests I take  another turn on the carousel. Before I go back to the books: N+2 meaning you underexpose two EV and overdevelop?

Pan F holds a special place in my heart--and your picture shows why: nice tones, about no grain ( in MF ) and as sharp as your technique ( or shutter ) will allow. And I like the dynamic perspective. 80mm--not 60 or less ?

Definitely the 80/2.8! I exposed this at ISO 80, as that's what I've seen done for development in Diafine, but next time I think I'll try it at 50 as the negs might have been better with a little more density. Slow films are lovely if you have the light, or don't mind a tripod. I have a couple of hundred feet of Rollei Retro 80 in the freezer and I must get around to trying it out. But tomorrow—I gave in to temptation—I have to try out Adox CHS 100 II.

Chris Moss is our guy who pioneered XP2 and HC110. Here: https://www.ilfordphoto.com/ilford-xp2-super-in-black-and-white-chemistry/

Here are some photos I had shot a bit ago with XP2 on the Mamiya 7 80mm the first @ ISO 200 with a yellow filter and the other two @ 100 with a red filter, and just developed in HC110 1:49 for 6:45, close to what Chris recommended. (Tap water closer to 70, but too lazy to throw a couple of ice cubes in. I must have water spotted the negs, but wanted to post a couple of samples anyway.

Yes and I don't recommend to do it. Apparently Ektar doesn't like to be underexposed. ☠️

I love light leaks like this; gives the impression of flames as if the river is on fire.
I have considered many times how to induce controlled light leaks, but basically I have no idea.

On both rolls of CineStill 800T I had light leaks on first frame. Apparently this film is sensitive enough to catch light leaks just from loading.

Piping ?  Does the film have a clear base ?

Don't know how and why it happened. Other 35 frames were OK. No other film had it - so, camera is OK also.

But this is exactly the reason why I shoot film - unpredictability and non-perfecton 😁

The more imperfection the better it is.
(If perfection is the goal, shoot digital.)

Steve , perfection "sharpness is a bourgeois concept" (Henri Cartier Bresson)

included perfection with the  "hack" using the photo software.

Ah, the question of what netteté means all over again (and whether HCB was speaking tongue-in-cheek)!
