Quality Control No. 6
M-A APO 50 ADOX Color Implosion mostly a subversive palette
Diptych study of dystopian time measurement. For installation, this will not go well with furniture. See Boris Vian, The Empire Builders.

Still at the Royal Palace. It took quite a few attempts to get an image free of light streaks from passing vehicles. I had to synch my timed shutter release to the red lights behind me haha. Took a while to figure out. Light streaks are cool, but here I was after a cleaner image to focus on the architecture as such.

I know, weird isn't it? I promptly emailed the City of Stockholm to point out this unforgivable lapse in maintenance. Shocking.

Artistically it's somewhat made up for by the two windows where the lights are on.

pretty dark, your recent work Rog. The "sutures" holding together some tissue-misaligned, anyway, let´s hope it will shield us from the hailstorm-but wait, we are refused entry.

BTW the sutures look as if a pathology assistant, weary of the final cleaning up, had done the job...

and here the irony kicks in... quality control !!  You see me rolling on the floor.

Boris Vian  seems  to be en vogue no more , but these instruments seem to be the chronometers of our leaders. Not a so far a jump to the real Bob:  Don't follow leaders, watch your pawking metows  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGxjIBEZvx0 maybe  these meters are showing the time left before the tow truck arrives

Philipus, I like the accuracy and precision  in your Stockholm series, the perfect timing with dark blue sky contrasting the street lights, the little details  ( the king is working, there is light ! ) and the technical skills behind it. For me,  Stockholm is a different memory: the breakfast in the  Museum with the Niki de St. Phalle Nanas,  the light , the market with the chantarelle, the design shops and the people I met.  But, I feel invited to bring a tripod to my next visit .... 😀 to add a different color to my memories.

Very nicely done, Klaus. Denken Sie an den Tod as they say in some circles I'm sometimes in. Was this shot wide open? Good focusing in that case.

Really beautiful colour. Apparently Venice's water is cleaner these days than it has been in a long while.
