Michel - as a someone who used to shoot Tri-X and now Double-X, I have to say I agree with you.

These are very nice.

Hello everyone

I just got my Digilux 2 today! I have been waiting awhile to find one, living in Australia means they are as rare as hen's teeth... I started it up and took a few shots my stuff in my bathroom I am very new to photography but I am already in love with the simplicity and beauty of this 'camera'! It's so much easier to use then the DSLRs I have tried in camera shops.

Tomas - the larger version is much better. Be nice to see more of this church. Nice images on your web site too. Are they all from the D2?

Thank You :) The images in my website are not only from D2, but the latest are from it. I started from Nikon D1, Fujifilm S2Pro, Leica Digilux 3, and now it's sony nex-3 with summicron-R 50 (the combo goes for sale now, I just get more keepers from D2) and the D2.

Still don't have time to finish the website in English, and the blog is neglected, but I'm going to make it more alive soon.

By the way, I like Your Filmus Monochromus website too :)

One more image from the church. It was started to restore several years ago, but works move forward very very slowly, so on Sundays it works as usual.

Welcome to the club! ;)

Hope you'll have as fun as I do with your D2.

Why don't you try first shooting at ISO 400? The first picture instead of being 1/2s would have been 1/8s. May I suggest you read Thorsten's site for more tips.

I am sure you will have many queries. So I suggest you raise them in new threads in the digital forum and keep this thread for showing your best pictures.

Cheers

Michel
