In the spirit of this great thread, a couple portraits (both cropped about 50%; tuned using either Aperture / NIK Silver EFEX).

In my experience with street photography, the D2 doesn't intimidate subjects, and in fact it often invites compliments and curiosity. :D

I happened to be shooting with the D2 just last night and a semi-pro photographer shooting a Canon 5D-Mark II came over to ask about my Leica. Later, a second photog shooting a Nikon 7100 came by to ask about my D2. Camera envy? It's almost gotten to the point that I must hide my D2 if I want any peace.

Even if they have never used one, many of these same photographers tell me they want to own a Leica one day. This could mean good future business for Leica. :)

These are actually two paintings, displayed in an art gallery window, and shot at night through the glass.

I wouldn't mind placing these on an office wall to create the illusion of greater space, and the fantasy of a tropical beach and warm ocean breeze.

My M-E is taking a cure in Wetzlar, so I took the old lady with me to our garden an did some colour shots.

The next three images are direct jpegs from the cam. Frame added in PSE11 and saved for the forum in LR4.4.

I love the colours:)
