Cool get ups, Michel. Where was that taken?

This photo has been taken this past Sunday (Sep. 23) at the 18th century "Château de Seneffe" in Belgium.

The "château" belongs now to the public domain. Besides various exhibitions (mainly jewels and sculptures), special outdoors events (picnic, musical nights, torchlight walk, ... ) are organized 2 or 3 times a year by the Wallonia Tourism Office, where visitors are greeted by volunteers dressed in 18th century fashion.

Unfortunately, the weather this past Sunday was not too good (windy, cold, overcast and drizzle ... well, a typical belgian Sunday) and hence, I didn't dare pulling out the D2 for outdoors shots of the picnic.

Fortunately, this couple was relaxing inside where I could take a picture.

Thanks for your interest, Jim :)

It is hard to compete with some of the lovely pictures recently submitted.... but i do like the natural colour rendition of the Digilux 2.

Hope you like

Hi

Can anyone tell me how long it normally takes to get photos posted on this thread?

I uploaded some photos more than 2 days ago but they haven't appeared yet.

I got a message saying they had to be approved by moderators but so far, nothing has happened.

The forum software will often automatically moderate new members' posts with attachments to prevent spam. Yours have been picked up by this filter. I have unmoderated two shots here.
