LocalHero1953 Posted October 12, 2014 Share #141 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm puzzled by those who say they wouldn't take more than one lens because of the fear of losing the others or having them stolen. Why do you love photography, take advantage of travel to practice it, and yet risk missing a great shot because you haven't brought the right lens? OTOH, I can understand those who don't have the space to take more than one, professionals whose kit may be defined by their assignment, or those who just want the discipline of using one lens. It's the fear of loss even though you've bought the lenses to use them that I don't understand. PS if I had to take one it would be an Apo Summicron 75 or an Elmarit 28 ASPH. I use both for both portraits and landscapes. But I can't choose between them :-). If pushed...........probably the former.
