andybarton Posted November 3, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) It is the 100th Anniversary of Barnack's prototype Leica in 2013 and, by coincidence, it is also the 10th Anniversary of the One Challenge What better way to celebrate both than having the One Challenge in the small town in South West Germany, where it all began? The Leica One Challenge 2013 will take place on 12th October 2013 in Wetzlar, Germany, with full details to be announced closer to the time. We are trying to arrange something with Leica, and if that can come to pass, then obviously it will be shared here as soon as details are known. I guess if there is any possibility of arranging a tour of the Leica facility it would be on the Friday so we'll be arranging to arrive on the Thursday evening. As I hope to be semi-retired by then (where have the years gone?) we will probably combine it with a couple of weeks on La-Continent. We have just been to Copenhagen, in October. Announcements were made throughout the Forum and in the meetings section. We had 30 people enter this year and about 80 people voted. You have two hours to take one best shot from one film/36 exposures, using one lens and one camera body in a different city every year.
