jaapv Posted September 11, 2012 Share #6 Posted September 11, 2012 Actually Lamborghini was/ is a tractor builder whose owner got into a conflict with Enzo Ferrari about a car that was unreliable. He then ( in 1963) decided to design a super sportscar ( in three months!!) to show Ferrari up.

luigi bertolotti Posted May 27, 2017 Share #9 Posted May 27, 2017 Actually Lamborghini was/ is a tractor builder IS ! Owned by Italian SAME Group (a thriving family company I know well for professional reasons, which includes also Fahr, Deutz, Hurlimann and other brands) ; it's over 40 years that they bought it, but they have never discharged such a precious brand.
