Hans Roggen Posted March 8, 2007 Share #22  Posted March 8, 2007 The old Agfa Super Silette with the Agfa Apotar 1:3.5/45. Not because it's such a great camera, but it used to belong to my wonderful grand father and he made so many wonderful family pictures with it. It's the one camera I'll never get rid of. Well maybe along with my F3.  Hans Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! It started me off taking "real" photographs after a box camera, an Agfa Click and Agfa Clack!! Guest Bernd Banken Posted March 8, 2007 Share #34  Posted March 8, 2007 Hi everyone, If allowed to keep and use just ONE camera and lens that you ever had or would like to own, what would it be? For me, it would not be my old Polaroid Swinger, Ricoh Singlex TLS, Nikon FTN, Nikon F3, or even my Leica M6. Believe it or not, I would opt for my compact (no excuse not to bring it everywhere), reliable, amazingly sharp, & instantly gratifying Leica D-Lux 2 (with the retro brown D-Lux leather case)!  Rick  Rick,  do you want to look at photograph made by the Swinger? Take the link and look at the hand of grandpa in Ireland. To make instant pics of many people in Ireland I bought the Swinger. It was a great success....  Welcome, dear visitor! carstenw Posted March 8, 2007 Share #35 Â Posted March 8, 2007 M6 for sure. I love the M8 but the M6 feels so good in my hands. The M6 TTL is already too large. I love the M6's quiet shutter and film wind lever. I just miss the preview screen Kidding... Â I am not sure about my favorite lens yet, nor my favorite lens for the M6. Maybe the 50/1.4A but I have to wait a bit until I have my kit set up to let it settle a bit.

brianpe Posted March 8, 2007 Share #39 Â Posted March 8, 2007 Epson R-D1 and a 50mm 'cron. 50's a little long for the Epson, but I found I made the best images with it. And the Epson, while no classic, re-invigorated my love of photography and therefore receives top billing.
