My resources are running low, I guess I need to be taking more trips than I currently do, however, I do have this one:

Ok, for this one, the city is easy. But lets get at least one of these three noteworthy buildings by recognizable architects or architectural firms,  all three of which are located in the same city.

 

(1) The tall glass building on the left, (2) the concrete building in the very center background, with the elevator core at the top, or (3 )the tall steel building with bronze glass on the right.

 

If you happen to be able to identify any of the other buildings or their architects from the scant bits and pieces visible, that would be even better!

Yes Stuart, for bridge buffs it's the first bridge at that location and was the last to be built (1983) to connect Streeterville with the Loop.  It's the only one of the 18 downtown bascule bridges that is constructed of box girders instead of trusses and is the second longest bascule bridge in the world.

There's some good clues for the  buildings.

The tall building on the right with the bronze glass is Harry Weese's Time Life building--such a great example of cor-ten steel.

 

Yes, that's correct. Harry Weese was the architect of the Washington DC subway system as well.
