This is getting stuck - this is now so stale that I am going to have to guess.

Could this be the place with the largest fan-vault ceiling in the world?

Ah, yes it is. And Stephen Hawking lives and works in the neighbourhood. (come on folks, step right up. Now it is easy)

Hi Stuart,

Right on the money. It is the Chapel of Kings. There is the most magnificent Rubens just behind the high alter, and its men and boys choir is one of the 2-3 best in the world. Every Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm their time, they do (and broadcast worldwide) a service of 9 lessons and carols. The opening hymn is always "Once In Royal David's City", and the first verse is sung solo by one of the boys. No one knows which boy will sing until the moment they start - the choir director tells his choice, the boy steps forward and the service starts. It is always magnificent.

Thanks for this shot of the unique Neo-Gothic parish church of San Miguel Archangel in San Miguel Allende, Mexico.

Nice to see a masterpiece that exists outside of Europe!

The building is a hybrid invention that displays very little Colonial Spanish influence with it’s parts taken from German Gothic with Moorish minarets and in pink stone. Cool.

I don't recall seeing it in the "Do you know this building" thread, but I could be wrong (as seniors often are).

I would be surprised though if this hasn't shown up somewhere in the Leica Photo Forums as it's a really unique building, fun and challenging to photograph in it's crowded environment.
