NigelG Posted August 31, 2020 Share #3339 Posted August 31, 2020 I had initially assumed that the faint brickwork paved “arcs” in the floor are where the wheels of cannon carriage ends ran when they were swung to aim - ie guns were mounted in the left hand recesses - but they look too deep....?
