otto.f Posted November 16, 2016 Share #1745 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) The fence does seem dutch indeed, as well as the biker's path (although the trend is towards red instead of black asphalt) and the gardening style Edited November 16, 2016 by otto.f

mikemgb Posted November 16, 2016 Share #1749 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) Looks like the back of Inigo Jones' Queen's House in London. war Posted November 17, 2016 Share #1750 Posted November 17, 2016 Ok, for this one, the city is easy. But lets get at least one of these three noteworthy buildings by recognizable architects or architectural firms, all three of which are located in the same city. (1) The tall glass building on the left, (2) the concrete building in the very center background, with the elevator core at the top, or (3 )the tall steel building with bronze glass on the right. If you happen to be able to identify any of the other buildings or their architects from the scant bits and pieces visible, that would be even better! Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted November 17, 2016 Share #1751 Posted November 17, 2016 Though I don't recall the buildings (one of my Chicago colleagues runs architectural tours for his clients on his boat) it appears we're at one of the many draw bridges over the Chicago River. war Posted November 18, 2016 Share #1752 Posted November 18, 2016 Yes Stuart, for bridge buffs it's the first bridge at that location and was the last to be built (1983) to connect Streeterville with the Loop. It's the only one of the 18 downtown bascule bridges that is constructed of box girders instead of trusses and is the second longest bascule bridge in the world. There's some good clues for the buildings.
