I don't understand why the subject building was revealed. It was my understanding that we were in this to identify the building as in "Do you know this building".  We had not yet even identified it's location.

Oops!  I'm sorry. I am new to this, so I was getting the impression that there wasn't a lot of interest.  Let me observe another round and understand the time period for research and participant response.

thanks

War.

youve asked so nicely, I can't refuse.  I'll prepare something tonight (Tuesday) and we will let it run. I'll use another continent.

No Michael. Not in Africa.  I'm assuming that you will be working this out logically, with questions,  and probably not have been there.  Is that an OK assumption?

Hello Gordon,

We will only know if I have ever been there after we know where it is.

Logic is important. I also use geology, geography, ecology climate & so forth.

For example: We are not in Asia & we are not in Africa, so that eliminates a lot of potential possibilities. This makes locating this place easier.

Best Regards,

Michael

Spot on Stuart.  Presumably you have been there. It's a must see! Isn't it?  My next trip in May is probably going to be the Darjeeling region starting from Kolkata

Do you post the next image?

Gordon -

Thank you.  Yes, we've been there in November of 2005 on our first pleasure trip to India - Barbara had been to India on business several times by then.  The ramp up is what really made me recognize it from this angle.

Let's try this one.  As a hint, I really like its name (No, it's not called ice cream or gelato, Leica or Ferrari)

Now...... I'm thinking Armenian influence with the building possibly located in Turkey? I haven't deciphered your clue though!

It's past 11pm here, so back on the this task tomorrow (Thursday ) evening.

regards

gordon

This church is "Spanish". The wrought iron crosses, the tile roofed porch on the bell tower, the quatrefoil openings and the paintings on the pilasters are all South American Spanish details. My guess, South America.

Hello Wally,

That is interesting.

If Sweden was not correct, my next guess was going to be Caribbean.

Best Regards,

Michael

Hi Michael. I hadn't considered the Caribbean. I can't say I know the architecture there but certainly the colors are indicative.
