Musotographer Posted February 2, 2016 Share #1102 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I've run out of good architectural pics to post so I won't have a go myself - but may I suggest that someone google Doric, portico and Lithuania? Or is that cheating? Edited February 2, 2016 by Musotographer
pop Posted February 2, 2016 Share #1103 Posted February 2, 2016 I've run out of good architectural pics to post so I won't have a go myself - but may I suggest that someone google Doric, portico and Lithuania? Or is that cheating? I was about to write nearly the same, with "Temple" and "Lithuania" as clues. "Cathedral" and "Vilnius" ought to do as well. Caveat: This is one of a smallish series of buildings; as I did not note which one it was, naming the series will be sufficient. war Posted February 3, 2016 Share #1109 Posted February 3, 2016 This is the Walter Gropius House, a reproduction of one of the original late 1920's Masters' Houses built for the faculty at the Bauhaus in Dessau. Unfortunately they are not faithfully re-executed, as the architect was permitted to reinterpret the original drawings in a Minimalist rather than the authentic Modernist style. Note the windows in particular. Nice image. PeterL also has some good black and whites on his website.
pop Posted February 3, 2016 Share #1110 Posted February 3, 2016 Thank you. Gropius is correct. Well done, Wallace, and over to you (again).
