Washington Posted July 30, 2011 Share #9 Posted July 30, 2011 Is this from Mt. Victoria? My memory is bad but I shot Hong Kong from a similar place way back in ’68 and I seem to remember that name. I do remember I was shooting with Ansco 500 a.s.a. film because I liked the grain and the pastel like colors.
egrossman Posted July 31, 2011 Author Share #10 Posted July 31, 2011 Thank you all for the kind words. I used a 0.9 ND filter and still had to stop the lens down the 35mm Summilux FLE to 2.8 because it was so bright up there! Photoshop CS5 really did make it very easy to stitch the six shots together. Rip: Yes it is Victoria Peak. I took the tram from the bottom at Garden Road to the top and shot from the top of peak tower. I used to live in HK from 1993-96 and now return 2-3 times a year on business. I agree that the weather was unusually clear (by HK standards)!
