This is a series showing samples of living areas where we strolled to explore the city. We did not see any other Europeans there. The city is under permanent construction and old ramshackle buildings are certainly to be replaced by another sort of stapled housing. The question is whether there will be ever enough room affordable for normal wages. All with Olympus EM 5 + Summilux 15 mm

Late september I was in Hong Kong for a fortnight and we could explore many locations. Stanley is a place with an English tradition in the south of HK-Island. After a hot and exciting day it was a welcome place to relax, have dinner and then going back to our hotel on Kowloon. This picture was taken just after sunset, a rising moon here is vanishing behind a hill. Pano out of 2 pictures, Olympus OM EM 5 with Elmarit R 60 mm.

Since could finish processing the pictures from my recent Hong Kong trip I can start to post a few series. To start with I can tell you that one of the best parks in Hong kong is the "Kowloon Walled City Park". The Walled City was once a stronghold of the Triads, having transformed the quarter of a British Garnison, into a solid mass of housing where the police feared to go even. From our hotel in the neighbpourhood old the old "Kai Tak Airport" it was only a short 20 minutes walk. The government finally decided to tear down the Walled City and transformed it into one of the most beautiful parks and Chinese Gardens in the city. People simply go there to relax, you can find there many Thai girls and women there who work as nannnies for Chinese households. If being in Hong Kong one should not miss this place. Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron

Hi guys, I have got this lens recently and have put it on trial a few days ago. Results aren't not that bad given the price of the lens, which is only a fraction of 21mm Angulon. Lets see how are they: Thanks for viewing and let me know your comments, regardless good or bad.

I was on the roof terrace at 6 o'clock this morning and the sunrise was just stunning. Birds singing, bats flitting, boats out on the sea already and all was well with the world..... briefly All this is about 20-30 mins from Kowloon / Central in HK.
