Yes. Put it in "The Film Thread":

Some old Portra 160NC here for comparison.

This is old Portra 160NC too:

Ciao

unfortunately I have "nothing" in the desert, but scanning ability of new Portra 160 is nothing short of superb.

These are 6 MP samples.

WARNING - several NSFW images !

By comparison, Ektar pictures are more contrasty (same model, NSFW) red, yellow and green hues are enhanced as well as contrasts between lights and shadows. It might be more indicated with people with extremely pale skin, to add some "colour" naturally.

Ciao Henry

if you want to practise, under here is FULL of poppies.... Although not one of my favourite subjects, I like the strong colour contrast with the green and I might try to take a few pics of them with both Portra 160, Ektar and Portra 400 in the next days.

Thanks, by the way it's the film who has increased its scanning capability, it's quite a long time I go to that photographer and definitely these last rolls of Portra 160 and 400 are a quantum leap forward.

Portra 400 - my hairdresser at her sister's wedding - Sorry "simple" Nikon here, no Leica - 1/350s F/11 - Nikon 50 f/1.4
