Karl-Albert Posted April 7, 2011 Share #16 Posted April 7, 2011 The leaves and the centre of the blossom are very well reproduced in terms of colour, light contrast and sharpness - simply perfect. I'd prefered to have the backgroud some darker with more contrast. However all colours and contrast can be subject to postprocessing with the PC. So for me there is no more the question if film or digital photography is better. Each technique has its own advantages and disadvantages. ....Karl,Tri and Ece What do you think of this photo? Karl , thank you again for your opinion By correcting the background (as you said) less green , here's what I get on LR I also corrected a little red color for it approximates the color that I saw (ie a little less red in a previous picture). Doc Henry Posted April 18, 2011 Author Share #20 Posted April 18, 2011 Thank you Ingrid for your nice picture ... so I'm not alone in loving the Red Poppy In fact, I never get tired of looking at the poppies because there is not one that is identical to another and then the color red is virtually inimitable and it fascinates me In addition to the green in the background, it's really beautiful This last picture is offered to Ingrid Welcome, dear visitor!
