Â The Taunus is a mountain range in Hesse, Germany located north of Frankfurt. Â The searched little village on my photo belongs to a more southern low mountain range of Germany, extending 220 km (140 mi) from southwest to northeast and 40 to 70 km (25 to 43 mi) in width.
