Gentlemen, last time you have guessed the place to my photo very quickly, so I made it a little more difficult this time.

Eifel, Frankfurt (Main), extend this approach further to the south.

Hmm, I always thought that Frankfurt edges to the Taunus.

 

The Taunus is a mountain range in Hesse, Germany located north of Frankfurt.

 

The searched little village on my photo belongs to a more southern low mountain range of Germany, extending 220 km (140 mi) from southwest to northeast and 40 to 70 km (25 to 43 mi) in width.

Here are some hints to the tower, from which the photo was taken.

Hope someone will come closer to the location.:)

 

Built in 1912

Mountain altitude 874 m = 2,868 ft

Tower height 28 m = 92 ft

Viewing platform 902 m = 2,959 ft

126 steps

found the Römersteinturm and as for the village, maybe Donnstetten?
