Oz_Hillbilly Posted May 29, 2011 Share #167 Posted May 29, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I received mine in Sydney Australia last week. A wonderful resource but I'm a little disappointed that it copped some damage in transit. The corners are a little crunched so not quite the coffee table exhibit I was hoping for. Does anyone know if the high international shipping charges (euro 35) included insurance against damage? HillBilly
Jager Posted May 29, 2011 Share #168 Posted May 29, 2011 Could you tell me where the book was printed... ? The book is self-published, presumably by a firm in Europe, since that's where the author lives. I'm away on a motorcycle trip and so can't check the exact place at the moment. luigi bertolotti Posted May 31, 2011 Share #176 Posted May 31, 2011 For those still waiting, here's a hint of what you have to look forward to... Jeff... you had a part of my same idea (which till now I didn't put in action for laziness... )... to try making a fine ambiented picture with the book... my idea was to post it here but also sending it to Erwin as a sign of appreciation... well, given you have been the first, I'd say it could be nice if many of us do this (not necessarly publishing it here too...) (obviously, the picture MUST be taken with... ... we know)
UliWer Posted May 31, 2011 Share #177 Posted May 31, 2011 I hate to disturb the peace and joy about receiving the book. Though reading it, I can't resist expressing my thought, that a picture of e.g. pages 108 or 153 would perhaps reveal more about the quality of this book.
