As I live quite nearby Erwin Puts, this afternoon I picked the book up at his home. It was a pleasure to meet and speak with him, especially about the story behind this limited edition.

I have the Hove edition as well and I can highly recommend the new book which is a big improvement in both presentation and content :)

I received this message in my inbox just now:

Hi all,

the Leica Compendium will ship in the next days. You will receive your copy very soon.

Thank you for your trust and patience.

Erwin Puts

For once, I'm in no hurry. I''ve waited a long time for this book, a day, a week or a month won't make a difference at all.

Received my copy of the Leica Compendium this morning delivered by TNT ... I live in Peterborough UK ... The book has 602 pages and measures 31 x 22 x 4 cm and weighs 2662 grams ... big but manageable. At first glance inside it promises to be a very good read and I'm pleased to see there are a fair number of colour illustrations. My book is not signed contrary to my request for a signed copy ... sometimes unsigned copies of limited editions are scarce.

Best wishes
