andybarton Posted January 21, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted January 21, 2007 Very nice Andy. DMR I assume. The weather was poor today wasn't it. Thanks folks. Yes, R8/DMR/19 We went for a walk to Formby this morning. Or rather, we went to get sand blasted at Formby - people pay a fortune to get exfoliated like that down South . I kept the DMR in the bag, but did shoot a roll of TriX (my first ever TriX) with the M2, which I shall process later. After Formby, we called in to see Mr Gormley, at Crosby, again, but the waves were breaking over the promenade and he was nowhere to be seen. So, called in to Perch Rock on the way home. The Tax Man Cometh and his form must be completed...
lambroving Posted January 21, 2007 Share #7 Posted January 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Madder than a mad dog, eh? That damn light again. Good use of your new toy. Like the framing, cloud and foam. Just enough foreground interest.

billh Posted January 22, 2007 Share #15 Posted January 22, 2007 The dog refused to get out, and stayed in the car... That is really a beautiful shot. What kind of dog? Most of ours loved this sort of weather - the fouler it was, the happier they were. Our recent four year old was known for napping outside in the rain. She was the original outdoors kid. ECliffordSmith Posted January 22, 2007 Share #18 Posted January 22, 2007 Andy, Very nice indeed. The light, sharpness and depth of field are just right and combine to make this a classy shot. Worth braving the elements for!
dhsimmonds Posted January 22, 2007 Share #19 Posted January 22, 2007 A great image Andy. However just one correction, we southerners have had our own bit of "sandblasting" this week. No damage at home but plenty around and about. The electricity was off for about 8 hours. You can keep that sort of weather up north if you please!
