Puh...this was a very hard choise. So here are my votes:

Dear all,

 

After the exhaustions of creating and posting a contribution it is quite a challenge

again to choose the favourite entries. Here is my choice:

 

1st, 3 points: Farnz with Tower Bridge egdirB rewoT

I like the stark geometrical composition and the gritty look. And it is quite amazing

to see the Tower Bridge doubled...

 

2nd, 2 points: the evil Dr.No with self in pixeltube

This picture simply looks fun, and is well in line with bad characters who like to

multiply themselves. I wonder though, the year Dr. No came into being on paper

the IIIF was already out of production for a year...

 

3rd, 1 point: man:men with Ghost's Marathon

The picture is indeed a bit eerie, and I like the association and story it comes with.

There are so nice pictures that the choice became difficult for me... But here is my vote with my reasons:

 

1-“Self in Pixeltube” by Dr. No. This picture is not only funny but really elegant. I like so much the low contrast and the interesting idea for a fragmented auto portrait, where the Barnack is the real character. This is not new, but here is so well done in all aspects that it got my attention immediately by its kind of “art-deco” style. 3 points.

 

2-“Automn storm sunlight reflections (etc.)” by A_E_Darling. It’s not a perfect copy because the scratches and the dust, but for me is so delightful this shiny and controlled light on the waves and the purity of the composition. Even with its defects I enjoy very much to watch this picture. 2 points.

 

3-"Tower Bridge egdirB rewoT" by Farnz. A surrealistic view of London and funny picture as well. Which is the real bridge and which one the reflected bridge? It’s not so easy to answer at first view, but who cares? Photography is another reality. 1 point.
