ryee3 Posted September 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I look in the Wiki section and there was no listing on filter size for the Visoflex 1:3.5 / 65 Elmar. Does anyone know the size for the filter for this lens? I am needing an IR filter on a Visoflex III and M8 for infrared application. Thanks:)
Advertisement Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Hi ryee3, Take a look here Filter size for Visoflex 1:3.5 / 65 Elmar. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted September 14, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 14, 2010 Which kind of Elmar 65 do you have ? If it is the first version (chrome), it surely uses E41 thread filters; I seem to remember that the second version (black) uses instead series VII filters. Luigi, According to the Hove 7th edition the second version (black) uses a series VI filter. I have a second version 65/3.5 Elmar but it takes a 55 mm screw filter and has no ring on the front with the serial number etc so I suspect that mine's been modified. Pete. a.noctilux Posted September 16, 2010 Share #6 Posted September 16, 2010 If your chrome Elmar has serial number 1 697 001 to 2 378 901 then the filter is E41. To be sure, I suggest that you measure the front ring. Arnaud
