Thanks Mano. Makes sense. I wondered if the "attraction" of my old X1 was more memory than anything else, I have nothing but fond memories of the files. Having newer cameras, X-Vario, and T, I wondered if grabbing the old girl was wise.

Anyway I took it today, it is perfect to slip under the seat, in it's case, and grab if/when the moment arises.

Such a moment here, parked picking up passengers. Idyllic spot, and one I go to often, but rarely snap a picture. http://www.hukalodge.co.nz/ if you're curious. A stitch of 5 separate JPEGs.

Darn you guys, you have me going back a year or two, finding files I had overlooked. Never ceases to amaze me this camera.

Started out as DNG's, but like the mono look, the X1 excels at mono in my opinion.

The perfect camera to tuck under the seat when I am away from home.

Parked on the wharf, and walked for a coffee, passed this area full of containers.

SOOC JPEG. Never ceases to amaze me this camera. Subject and light is a bit ho-hum, but the quality is there.
